Celebrating K at 3 Years

K was much more aware of and excited about her birthday this year.  We had a small celebration with just our immediate family; she did Skype with extended family and they all sent her presents.

I set up the dining area the night before, so it was decorated when she came downstairs on her birthday.

I filled this wall with photographs of K throughout her life. The index cards say “K was born…,” “1,” “2,” and “K became a big sister.” I made the 3 out of cardboard and fabric

I wanted to walk around the table 3 times with the globe, but we didn’t get to it.  Hopefully, I can make it happen again next year.

I asked K the same birthday interview questions as last year.  Here are her answers!

What is your favorite color? Pink and Green

What is your favorite toy?  frosty (toy car)

What is your favorite fruit?  Strawberries

What is your favorite veggie?  Broccoli

What is your favorite tv show? Doc McStuffins

What is your favorite outfit? Dress – one with “stuff all over it”

What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? Pork

What is your favorite game?  Sneaky Snacky Squirrel

What is your favorite snack? Pouch

What is your favorite animal? Elephant

What is your favorite song? Frosty the Snowman

What is your favorite book? George and the Dragon (about a Mouse and a Dragon)

Who is your best friend? T (I love this answer!)

What is your favorite thing to do outside? Write with chalk

What is your favorite drink? Water

What is your favorite holiday? Christmas, I also like Halloween

What do you take to bed with you at night? Rudolph

What do you like to eat for breakfast? Dumplings (Mommy note: you do love dumplings, but most mornings you eat cold oatmeal, a slice of bacon, and an apple)

What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Pork belly

What do you want to be when you grow up? Conductor on a dinosaur train and tell people what we are going to see
