K was much more aware of and excited about her birthday this year. We had a small celebration with just our immediate family; she did Skype with extended family and they all sent her presents.

I set up the dining area the night before, so it was decorated when she came downstairs on her birthday.

I filled this wall with photographs of K throughout her life. The index cards say “K was born…,” “1,” “2,” and “K became a big sister.” I made the 3 out of cardboard and fabric
I wanted to walk around the table 3 times with the globe, but we didn’t get to it. Hopefully, I can make it happen again next year.
